Today I am dedicating myself to working on a free blog niche. I chose to work on a DIY Herb niche because It is a topic I am interested in. I am focusing on getting a few of my favorite salve recipes down and want to get the blog to have at least 20 posts by the end of the day. I will hopefully use this blog to activate my adsense account once it starts generating traffic.
With the blunder I had with bluehost the other day, I figure using blogger will be a good place to start to get that coveted adsense account. It will also give me a place to practice some different seo techniques. All things take time, and I find myself every morning looking to see how well my site is getting indexed. Oddly enough I am almost excited to go back to my 9-5 just to help pass the time.
I have a big move coming up, moving into my new long term rental, which unfortunately will be a little more expensive than the vacation rental I am currently in. I want to make sure that I am firing on all cylinders before that transition. Man its going to be busy for me the next couple weeks, but I have to keep pushing. Next week I will sit down and seriously consider which affiliate programs I want to start using, and pushing.
I am also going to have my wife work on a blog that will be nice, more of an informal place for her to rant and rave about whatever she wants (Probably going to be me). With my luck, all my seo and dedication will pale in traffic compared to her informal rant blogs. But I want to keep her involved.
Step one get my feet wet Rome wasn't built in a day, and I am not expecting miracles. I guess that is the first lesson in my journey to Passive 100k Income that I can share. Keep your expectations low, and keep pushing day by day, and something must come of it. I will be sure to freak out with excitement when I make my first adsense dollar, just as much as when I start making 100k a month passively. Have to keep it all in perspective, and celebrate the small victories. Small victory for today is just doing something, developing myself, and knowledge working on these silly blogs.
